I spent a decade immersed in biomedical research while battling fatigue, gut issues (hello, IBS and food intolerances!), and jumping from one diet trend to the next. Fitness became part of my life in 2013, which inspired me to take a deeper dive into my nutrition. But despite my best efforts—and countless doctors' appointments—I still felt stuck. Even working with a holistic nutrition therapist left me feeling confused and frustrated, with an unhealthy relationship with food to boot.
Being the science-minded person I am, I took matters into my own hands. I dove into the science of nutrition to uncover the root causes of my symptoms. What I discovered changed everything—not just for me, but for how I now help others.
